Noho Marae bruce Bay

Last week we went to a marae in Bruce bay it took roughly about 3 hours.
It was an amazing drive over there, some of the kids counted 74 bridges on the way back.
When we got there we went to the atua and we got welcomed onto the marae.
We had so much fun at the marae, My favorite part was the stories behind the carvings and the tukutku.
We had a great time at the marae i hope i go again one day.

Arahura Marae

Yesterday we went to Arahura marae,
The marae was amazing.
They told us a story about a taniwha called poutini and about the carvings inside.
 We had such a fun time at the mare.

Little freak

Kina

Last week we went to camp.
It was great there was so much sea creatures and kinas. As you can see I have researched and written on this slide.

Heath With Harold.

This week we had a class with Harold. We learnt about eating good food and learnt how much sugar, salt and fat. 

Did you know that you should only have 10 grams or less of fat and sugar? Did you also know you should have less then 600mg of salt? when you look for how much sugar, salt and fat is in the food you need to look for the amount above.

Pepa Kuti Toka

Today we did this thing called 'Pepa, Kuti, Toka' it means Paper Scissors Rock It was fun heres a sheet of what we did.

Reading fractions

Today we learnt about fractions we had a padlet to say everything we know about fractions and then we went on a website it had a song about fractions and a game to test us then we had to make a drawing.

Past and present

This week we learnt a little bit of Maori sentences first we learnt present and then we Learnt past here are the ones I created.

If i

This week we did something called 'if i' for Example if i were a car i would be a Lamborghini because im fast. See what i wrote in my slide down below.

Stem and leaf

Today we learnt about stem and leaf and how to draw them so we got some basket balls and we tried to get our highest this shows the board

Bottle flipping

Today we had a fun math activity of bottle flipping i got four tearu and cassidy and rodeshar came first tied.

Guinea pig

Today Whaea Katie brang in some guinea pigs there was one that was light brown and one was black,white and orange.

 We started doing graphs this week I asked everyone in the class what their favorite sport was I they chose from Soccer,Hockey,Rugby,Squash,Basketball,Touch,Cricket,Ki o rahi and League. Soccer came first and got five Hockey got second and had four League and Basketball tied and came third.

harold

This week we went to Harold and we learnt about peer pressure there's positive and negative. We also learnt about aggressive and assertive. We also had the bad and good things you should do and things shouldn't. I did a tagul on some of the good things and here it is.

Calendar art. We've been making a calendar for our parents and this year were making these love hearts there's lots of different designs u can do here's some of them Im doing the first one "bulging heart"







Blender explanation. We have been doing explanations in our classroom on a "house hold item" i did a blender we had to make a doc and write all the words on that and then we copy and pasted the words and put them on a slide. click here to see all of it

What now. The other day we went to the train station. We saw what now.we did Kapa haka to greet them they also came with spring field school they put it on t.v on Sunday i was so excited to watch it i watched it twice ;-; we went there on Wednesday only Chris and bee came. We did our Haka called ruaumoko it was so fun (catch what now every Sunday at 8.00am).

This week we have been art it was so fun we made these tree's with pastel. We had to choose out of cool or warm i chose cold. Cold has blue for the sky in the background and green for the grass but... we had to put the warm colours for the tree leafs.
